Estimates
Galvan Masonry LLC provides free estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial masonry work. Estimates are based on an on-site inspection and are provided in writing. An estimate is not a contract; the scope and price are confirmed in a written agreement before work begins. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Scope of work
All work is performed according to the written scope agreed upon before the project begins. The scope names the work, the materials, and the mortar type. Any changes to the scope must be agreed to in writing by both parties before the additional work is performed.
Permits
Where a building permit is required for the work, Galvan Masonry LLC will pull the permit in accordance with the requirements of the local building department. The property owner is responsible for confirming any local requirements that apply to their property.
Payment
Payment terms are specified in the written agreement. Typically, a deposit may be required to schedule work, with the balance due upon completion. For commercial and industrial projects, payment terms are negotiated as part of the bid.
Warranties
Workmanship is warranted against defects in installation for the period specified in the written agreement. This warranty does not cover damage caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to water intrusion from sources outside the scope of work, settlement, soil movement, impact, or severe weather events.
Site conditions
The property owner is responsible for providing safe access to the work area. Galvan Masonry LLC is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or damage caused by factors not visible at the time of the estimate.
